The demographics show that more or less both genders appealed to this film, similarly. The reason behind this is because this film involves detectives work which most of the times appeals to anyone specially those that appear on TV dramas, what can go wrong with adding a bit of horror? Having children in any movie brings female viewers closer to watching the film in a sense that they feel sympathy towards the child in the movie as the stereotype that women show more feelings .As well as that the film is family orientated, just as any other horror movies which always features a child (girl) in her own bedroom and crying out loud for help to her parents. Results’ highlighting the age group shows that 50% the majority who watched it were between the age 15-24.This challenges my idea that it is a family film which would be considered to be watched by parents but younger population seem to have high interest for it. On average teenagers view more horror movies then any other groups.
